have you done Panama Canal cruise - Acapulco to San Juan. Did you get to see the cliff divers. We arrive just after lunch and ship sails 8pm - any chance we will get to see this spectacle.
Anyone else sailing Island Princess 5th January

You will have plenty of time to see the cliff divers. In fact late afternoon or early evening
is really the best time--very dramatic at sunset. I did the Canal in 2000 and am doing it again in April on Island Princess, Ft. Lauderdale to L.A.

Cheers you guys, that's really useful info. Did you get a good view of the divers from the ship or were you on land. Have you been on Island Princess before and if so what was your opinion.
Thanks for the times LHT28 - Lyn did you get to see them?

You can't see the divers from the cruise ship. You'll have to take a taxi or a tour to see them. It's not that far from the ships dock. Once there you can either stand in the sun & watch them from the railing of opt for a seat in the shade & order drinks from the bar- it's your choice.
