Can you please explain cruise credits for Royal Caribbean? My family and I booked an owner's suite on Empress of the Seas for a 7 night Bermuda cruise. My daughter is a C&A Gold. Any help is appreciated

As I understand it, you get one credit for any booking, and if it is a suite it counts for two credits. A cruise of 12 days or longer earns another credit. No one can get more than 3 credits per cruise. If your daughter has 4 cruises with RCCL she will get credit for a fifth cruise and move to platinum level when the cruise is finished. I don't think she gets two credits unless she is a primary guest on the booking - but I could very well be wrong about that. We have some diamond and diamond plus members on the board and hopefully they will chime in here and either confirm what I said or correct it.

RCCL's Crown and Anchor rules can be confusing.

Hi,
Dave is right about your daughter getting the credit for the cruise. She has to book the cruise to get the two credits. If you book the cruise then you get the credits. Are you a C&A member? If not then you should have your agent re-book in your daughter's name using her C&A number. My daughter has been on four cruise but she has Diamond Plus status because when she joined C&A she lived at our address. If she cruises on her own I won't get any credit for that cruise. If she changes her mailing address she will become a gold member. I hope I didn't confuse you... Smile

Why does being a "Gold member make a difference? What is the benefit?
