Some of you may have noticed that the CR.com site has undergone a major upgrade. It started about three weeks ago when the site went down for four days. Once restarted, the server kept acting up and eventually completely crashed on the 1st of October. We have relocated the entire site to a brand new server and made many gains in the process. However, there are still many broken links that we are chasing down.

If you have submitted a review within the last 10 days and it has not been published to date, I am afraid it was lost in the process. If you could send a copy of it to CruiseReviews@aol.com

I am currently on the Vision of the Seas in Mexico and will be back next Monday. Thanks for your patience.

I cannot believe all the great info I have found on this site. Going on a 23 day cruise from Vancouver to NY soon and have been able to ask questions, read about our ports and get a general idea of our ship. We have been on many cruises and did not know this site existed. I will be sure to add my comments on our return.
Hope you are enjoying your cruise.

Bridgette,
LUCKY YOU!!!
We recently returned from a 7 day Alaska (out of Vancouver) and we were just getting to know the layout of the ship and feeling at home when ... it was over. I envy you the luxury of 23 whole days to enjoy your lovely home away from home.
What ship will you be on? We live on Vancouver Island so will be on the watch for you as you sail out.
All the best Wave
Rose

Hi Rose,

just reading, that your are back from your cruise.
Still remember, the question your were asking.
And not its all over.
We booke a transatlantic tour, starting november 12 th, so we are the lucky people with a cruise to go. And its important for me, because 1 hour ago I came home from a hospital. Had a operation at my vocal cords and not allowed to talk, but at least I can write here on the board.
How is it going in British Columbia, you lucky person, living one of the beautiful spots in the world. We have a really golden october with changing colors, but of course not as beautiful as the Indian Summer in the US or Canada.

Best wishes, Marita

Hi Rose,
Welcome back! I hope you plan to write a review of the Veendam cruise. Since it was your first cruise I would love to hear your thoughts and impressions (of both the ship and the whole cruise experience).

Marita,
I hope the recovery after your operation goes smoothly. How long before you will be able to use your voice again? We will be glad to keep you busy - chatting on line, until then.

Nancy

Tom welcome back. I certainly hope your cruise was not interrupted by the hurricane. Some people on The Star missed some ports & their times were cut short at other ports. Oh well, mother nature has no compassion for us cruisers!
Did you do anything special at your ports(?).How was the weather? We leave on the Ncl Star 11/1/05 & would love to know some great beaches & places to shop. I'm sure you know the cruise route. Please email me ronnalla@charter.not because I don't always remember how to get back to my post.
Happy sailing for in the furture.
