I was just wondering are yo aloowed to bring floating devices on the cruise aship and are they allowed in the pool areas. I can not swim but I loved the water so I have purchased a rather large devices, well it is a inflatable floating chair and I was wondering if i woould be bale to bring it with me on my cruise. I usually take it with me when we go to indoor waterparks or hotel swimming pools
I've never seen any rule that bans any floating devices from the pools but I've never seen then used either. (private beaches included). We did bring our floatation vests on a RCI cruise once for snorkeling & nothing was said but never in the pool.
"Metal Detectors: Guests are not permitted to use metal detectors on board because anything found on board would "belong" to Carnival Cruise Lines. We would then try to return the item to the guest."
and
"Fish Caught on Fishing Expeditions: The fish cannot be brought on board; it must be shipped home."
I suppose that one time or another people tried to do both.
What about fishing off the stern? Can I reel in my catch & then ship it off at the next port?
