Cool, glad more are going....was talking to another Triumph traveler and we all thought it would be a mostly empty ship....good to see thats not so...you going with kids? friends? family? special occasion? This is our last big trip before the oldest goes off to college...a few of his friends and families are going too, should be fun!

We left our hotel via the hotel shuttle at 11:15 a.m. the drive to the port took about 20 min. and then we were dropped of where you give your luggage to the porters.(The driver asked everyone on the shuttle which ship they were going on, He know where all the ships were berthed) Walked a few steps to the entrance of the terminal, went through security and then followed the rest of the passengers through the terminal to the area where you give up your documents and receive your boarding pass. From there you go to the picture taking area and from there you walk on to the ship. (keep your documents handy at all time, as you will be asked to show them occasionally during this process) We were on the ship and heading to the buffet for lunch by 12:30 p.m. We had to keep our carryons with us until about 1:30 when our cabin was ready. You will get along fine, fear not. Every one is very helpful, just ask if in doubt about anything. Happy sailings!!

I look at it a little differently. I think it's worth getting there early especially when I see all the passengers getting onboard after I already have had a great lunch onboard. I feel I gain 3 or more hours enjoying the ship instead of not having to wait in line a little longer. We also fly in a day early so we are well rested on our first real vacation day. I heard too many horror stories of people missing their cruise because of weather or some travel problems. Think about it.

Going back to what someone said earlier My wife and I went on the Conquest in 2004 and didn't put any change of clothes in our carry on bags and we didn't receive our luggage until about 10:30pm that night!!! Needless to say we were starting to feel a little uncomfortable after awhile. Our second cruise on the Valor in September of 2005 we took clothes in our carry-ons and we had a luggage an hour after we were on the ship!!! So better to be prepared than be sorry that you weren't. I personally had a better experience in Miami with embarkation than I did in New Orleans. New Orleans took us about 4 hours to get on the ship and Miami took about 1 1/2 hours!!! I was pleasently surprised...

It is Easter break, the ship will be full.

Sounds like we are all on the same page.

A couple years ago when my youngest son was graduating high school we organized a cruise with the school families we knew and he grew up with. We did not want him going off on a spring break with just a bunch of guys. We ended up with about 30 families and several of my brothers and their families and my parents.

We had a great time. My brother liked is so much he booked the Triumph with some families from his son's high school as they are graduating this spring. They asked us if we wanted to go and we said "YEAH BABY!". So my wife and 16 year old daughter are tagging along in addition to my parents. My sons are both in college so they miss out this time.

We are not in charge of anything this time. My daughter will be with her same age female cousin mostly so it should be a restful cruise for my wife and I this time.

We won't know you but I am sure we will see you aboard.
