Hey Everyone,
On my last cruise, I noticed door magnets on a lot of the cabins. They had names, locations, and activities on them. Has anyone else noticed them?
I am planning a group cruise, and I thought this would be a great way to keep up with everyone. Does anyone have any idea where I can order these? I think I am also going to make shirts for the kids traveling with us. I was planning on getting baseball shirts in BRIGHT colors. I thought we could give each child there own number. Each day would be a different color. I thought it would make it easier to see our kids the mayhem. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks,
Emily

The T-shirt ideas is a great way to spot the kids. You should be able to buy refridgerator door magnets almost anywhere, they would work for pinning notes on doors. I also use suction cup hooks for hanging things in my cabin. I buy those at home depot. They're great for hanging formalware while steaming them.

I love the idea about having numbers on the backs of the shirts. Perhaps at some point before the cruise -- before you order the shirts -- you can have the kids draw their numbers from a hat. That way, no one argues over being #1. This could even be part of a cruise planning party. Smile

Post-it notes would work as well as door magnets; and they come in a variety of sizes and colors.

Great idea. We always spend a ton of money on pressing on the cruise. I may just get me one of those travel steamers.

F-mattox is right; the post-it will probable work even better than the magnets.

Post-its are a great idea. They're even making them now in different shapes... last spring, our office manager gave us ladies floral-shaped ones.

Any of the big office supply stores have magnetic paper. This is what is most often used for the door signs.

The magnets will not work with all the doors though, when I was on the Legend I had to stick it to the wall next to the door.
