Contentment

Contentment is the sun and sea,
A breeze to gently brush your face.
With someone dear to hold your hand,
You know you've found the perfect place.

Though fame and fortune pass you by
And riches be a hopeless goal,
The soothing waters of the sea
Will quiet and delight your soul.

With dock behind and port ahead
And nothing but calm seas between,
We cruise beyond the farthest wave
And sail into the vast unseen.

There's nothing in this restless world
As pleasant as a cruise for me.
While others seek to find themselves,'
I find myself upon the sea.
