Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for some fun cruise game ideas. I'm going with a group of women and want to have some extra fun cruise games, such as a scavenger hunt and what kinds of items would be fun and unusual to find? Any suggestions?

Yes, but it's a family oriented chat site.

I bought some gold dubloons in Key West. You could probably find some and hide those.

I want in on this! I would just pocket mine, and to heck with the game. Smile

OK, Assuming your group is a little athletic, you set up a number of tournaments and award points for 1st, 2nd, 3 rd place

Games are:
1. Ping Pong
2. Free Throw Shooting
3. Fastest time walking twice around the track
4. Most money made from original $40 at black jack table in 30 minutes
5.fastest time down water slide
etc...

Then you have a grand prize based on points

You will need a stop watch.

Or, you have a scavenger hunt with digital cameras where you have to get certain pictures.

You and the captain
You and a show girl
You taking a picture of the photographer rather than him taking you.
You doing Kareoke
etc...

First one with all the pictures wins.

We cruise with Royal Caribbean. Every cruise we have been on has had:
A souvenir glass
A souvenir shot glass (a "love cup")
Towel pets in the rooms at night
Mints on the pillow
Bingo cards
Raffle tickets for artwork

Also, you could ask for local currency. My husband and I went to Mexico and never had any pesos. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the ideas! I like the photo idea and the bingo cards, etc,

I think I'll skip the buffalo chips and ask for buffalo wings instead Smile

I guess I need to explain the buffalo chip comment.

I have a fairly deep memory and unfortunately this also means I collect a lot of junk memories that just won't go away. On the TV show Bonanza - I think it was an episode in 1967 - Little Joe and Hoss were hiding an indian in the town hotel. The man was going to be a witness at a murder trial. They asked him what he wanted for dinner. He went through a bunch of things that weren't available. Finally they asked him "what about a steak?" His reply was "You mean cow? That will do, but I want it roasted slowly over dried buffalo chips".

Anyway, sometimes these things randomly surface and I use them. As Mr. Monk says - it is both a gift and a curse.
