Does anyone know of an inexpensive nice hotel to stay in close to the port of miama. Also I heard about the Heddon I think that is the name any comments on this hotel??????

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon. It has a free shuttle from MIA, and also has a shuttle ($10 per person) to the port. We took the last shuttle to the port, and were quite happy we did. We were able to get late check-out, and use the pool until it was time to board the shuttle. Plus, since we arrived later at the port, there was not one line to get into to embark! We just rushed right through it.

P.S. I left my cell phone charger in the room. When we returned from the cruise, I was able to pick it up from the hotel, all safe and sound.
