I'm looking for a cruise that takes me through the Greek isles and down the Red Sea where we can visit the pyramids. Does anyone have suggestions as to ship, line, when to go, etc...

Princess has three different 12 day itineraties that meet your criteria, except for the Red Sea. They port at Alexandria and Port Said and Cairo/Giza is an overland excursion. Two are on Pacific Princess and one is on Grand Princess.

I've never been. What has your Travel/Cruise Agent suggested so far?

I don't use travel agents. I do research via the internet. I prefer getting my info from everyday people that can tell me about their experience. I know there are travel agents controlling these discussions so I'm going to catch some heat.

For everyday travel bookings, I don't bother with a TA either. But for something like what you are planning I would be consulting a TA along with my own research. It's not like you pay the TA. But its your holiday you can do it however you want. Why would a TA give you any heat for you spending your own time doing the research and booking it yourself? If it all goes wrong, its not going to be their fault.

No, you won't catch some heat. I will set the record straight though. Out of the 7 of us that volunteer our time to keep this forum helpful and between the ditches, there are 2 travel agents and 1 cruise agent. No one has ever advertised, solicited, or tried to control any discussions.
