Howdy! I am a first time cruiser and just booked the cruise this morning happy dance (Carnival Triumph, East Caribbean). I have the cruise and the airfare all done. We are arriving 1 day early since we are coming from a small airport in California. I also have a hotel for the first night (arriving evening so I found one with airport and shuttle to port). But for the last night I thought it would be nice to spend the afternoon/evening in a nice part of Miami and see some sites without spending $$ on taxis (from port, to hotel, to sites, to hotel, to airport). Any recommendations?

Now I am off to search your site for some tips! Thanks!

The hotel should offer a shuttle from the airport. From the hotel you should be able to take a local bus to South Beach or Crandon Park or Villa Viscaya, or some of the other sites. From your hotel to the port and from the port to the airport, I'd suggest Super Shuttle for a lower fare than a cab. Hope this helps.
