Hi all,

My parents are thinking about taking a cruise for their 50th wedding anniversary which will be the first week in October 2009. They would like to include their three children, spouse, and 8 granchildren, ranging in ages from 10 - 22. Since this is during the school year, it should be a short cruise, with minimal time off work/ school. Plus, we are looking to embark from a port in CA. Besides the Ensenada cruise that we all have done, any recommendations for us?

You most likely will only have a couple options that time of year going out of California on a short cruise. They are Royal Caribbean and Carnival.
