* MSC Gets Two Too Big Nov 14 - MSC Crociere today signed an order with Alstom's Chantiers de l'Atlantique for two 133,500-gt vessels, the line's largest to date, and their first that are too big to fit through the Panama Canal. Being excessively sized for the Panama Canal isn't immediately an issue, since Chantiers says the ships are intended for year round operation in the Mediterranean. With these ships, MSC is definitely entering the big league in the cruise industry. This size is approaching that of Royal Caribbean's Voyager-class vessels (138,000- gt) which, until QM2 entered service a year and a half ago, were the largest passenger vessels in the world.
hier geht's weiter. Achte doch bitte in Zukunft ein wenig darauf, was bereits von anderen geschrieben wurde. Die neuen Schiffe werden ja bereits (nicht erst) seit gestern heiß diskutiert.
