So what state are you from, and have you cruised the Liberty before?

I'm "trying" my best to get away Roll Eyesfrom this COLD Missouri weather. Just 45 days, which seems an eternity, but I have so much going on with family/work for February/March, I know the time will fly by. Smile

Hi Larry and others posting here. Since you have not recieved a response from any past pax I'll give you my two cents worth. Liberty is only 2 1/2 years old and as some know, I get reports back regularly from pax from many ships. Liberty and Freedom are the two ships with consistantly the highest reviews in CCL fleet. I get rave reviews on food, service, staff and other aspects. Of couse there are many reviews on here as well and although I havent read through them I'm confident they will reflect the same views I get. I just checked my own bookings for a 90 day period and have over 85% exceded expectations ratings for Liberty. With the number of folks out there that will complain about anything and everything that's a truely impressive number. Have a great cruise and give us your own review when you return.

Cheers, Neil

Hi Neil, this is a "simple" question, and I may partially have the answer, but what does pax stand for? Does it stand for past passengers, etc?

brneyes

P.S. I plan to give a report when we get back in April.

CU, So you are from Germany? What a coincidence, I say. The reason I say this is my father who has since passed on, was born/raised in Germany, and then came to the United States. So thus, I am half German. Smile

Yes, the pictures I seen of Germany that my father had, it did look COLD there also.

The direction we will be going on the Liberty, it should be WARM/HOT, which is right up my alley. Smile

Here in Missouri, we still have ICE on the ground, and they are saying more snow is coming. Mad

Hopefully I will get to meet you.

HI Brneyes

Yes we are from Germany! Nice to hear that your roots are from the old world *gg*.

I hope, too that on liberty its hot. Usually we have snow here, but the last year there is no snow. The weather is getting really wormer!

Hope to see you on the Libery!

Did you travel ever with Carnival ? or other cruise ships ??

elektrochris, yes I have cruised on Carnival once before, and we loved it. Although I have cruised on Holland American, RCCL, Princess, and NCL, we were very pleased with Carnival, as there had been so many BAD things said about it, but we were very pleased. I think by this being your first cruise, you should like it no matter what.

Since your from German, I have no clue, what does "gg" stand for?

There is a lot of sickness of the flu going around here in the states, and it is BAD. Hopefully it doesn't wind up on the ship when we get there. It is at work here, and at church/schools.

I just booked a tour with sunnylistontours for St. Thomas. It is only $25, and looks like it is going to be nice. I know there are several other people on the cruise forums that have signed up too.

Hello, it was good to hear back from you and to "learn" what the gg stands for. I understand now. Actually, I like learning of other peoples ways. Smile

It is to be in the 70's today, which is hard to believe, and then drop down each day after that, will possibly some snow over the weekend, but I don't think it will stick.

I am fighting a medical problem, that I was hoping would go away with medicine/prayer, but it looks like I am going to have to see a specialist before I go on vacation. Eek I was hoping to take care of this after vacation, but sometimes we have to take care of our bodies sooner than what we think.

My friend who is going with me is very concerned, but I told her we are going to have FUN, FUN, FUN, no matter what. Only 17 days. Yipee.
