We booked him through good reviews on Cruise Critic boards and were not in any way disapointed. He has 3 or 4 air-conditioned passenger vans which are well maintained. On his website (OkeyDokey Tours) he gives you a couple "tour" choices for reasonable prices. We took the Banana Plantation/Canal tour. He was our "tourguide". He took a general consensis from all 7 passengers of what interested us most and timed the tour accordingly. Took us to extra sites (safe) that most wouldn't. Gave us a wealth of knowledge on his country. Even surprised us with a quick stop for water and pop before heading out on our adventure AND he paid for it. Bought us "sweet" banana from a roadside vender, seeked out a "sloth" & "baby monkey" for us to hold, stopped at a oceanside "local" restaraunt to try fried banana, cruised through "local" housing, got the BEST boat guide for the Canal tour (and he really was awsome!)At a passengers request he stopped at a catholic church for prayer and made a stop at the "local" grocery store for good vanilla and best Costa Rica coffee (cafe 1820) at the cheapest price. Even though we took the cruise for the Panama Canal.....Costa Rica became our most memorable momment! Thanks to Charlie.
