We are cruising to the Mexican Rivera on Royal Caribbean Aug 3-10. We want to do a beginning scuba dive. The ship doesn't offer an excursion like this, so we are searching on our own. We have found 2 companies; Cabo San Lucas Tours by Johann and Sandra OR Manta Scuba Diving. Does anyone have any experience with these companies or another one you would recommend? What has been your experience of booking off ship in Mexico?

Hi CJO, haven't used either of those two specific companies. Just be sure they are certified and you should be ok. Also, make sure you will have a dive master with you at all times. If you have time, it would be a wise investment to take some dive lessons before you go. Open water diving is quite a bit different than a pool, but at least you would have the basics. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise!
