Does anyone have any information regarding hotels near Long Beach? We are sailing on the Carnival Pride on Feb. 6 and were wondering where a convenient place is to stay. We will be arriving by air so will not need parking, but will need a shuttle to ship. Found a web site with inexpensive rooms on the Queen Mary, but not sure we want to do that. Any help is appreciated.

The last two times we have taken a cruise out of L.A. we have flown in the day ahead and spent the night at a hotel near the airport.

Then the next day you can return to the airport and take either the cruise line's bus, a private shuttle or a taxi to get to the ship.

Thanks, not a bad idea. Also considered renting a car and dropping it at the port. But the shuttle from the airport is a good idea.
