For those families who are traveling to Bermuda, I discovered a wonderful little beach that is right at the dockyard.
Snorkel Beach is a wonderful place to go IF YOU HAVE KIDS! It's within walking distance of the ship (or whining distance depending upon the time of day). It has a few water slides anchored out in the water and a couple of water trampolines and all the seashells you can scavenge. Bring your own snorkel and mask and have a lot of fun diving for seashells.
My kids had a ball and I didn't have to schlep them on and off of a bus or taxi to get to one of the more well-known beaches. Sure, the food is expensive on the beach but it IS Bermuda and everything is expensive.
A WORD OF WARNING: Do remember to bring a pair of water shoes. The ground in the water is extremely tough on your feet between the shells (broken and otherwise) and the rocks. I am usually fine with this even given my arthritis but Snorkel Park was too tough for my feet.

Have Fun!
