has anyone been to panama and taken excursions to the canal.

I did the excursion to the canal. We did not actually go in the canal, just stood on the platform and watched the ships come through the locks.
I think there is an excursion where you go up to the lake. turn around and come back out. I have some pictures on my website of you want to have a look.
