I am not sure what you are looking for?
Shopping? sites?
The fort is right across the road from the port
The Cliff divers are a taxi ride away other sites are spread out.
I would take a tour ...private or via the ship to get the best overview of Acapulco.

First Welcome to Cruise Chat.
There is alot to do from the dock area as the others have said. However the Like Lisa said the Divers and big tours area away from the dock. IMHO the venders at this dock were very pushy/aggressive. There is a building with a few approved venders inside a gate area, but once outside the fence...they are very aggressive. Once in town or away from this area if seemed better to us. Also note there is a chance you will be tender in the port. When are you going, and have fun.

Thanks Penny, I bet it showed up a few times.
Here is a night Photo taken from my balcony.

A few shots of the venders outside the fence area.

And some of the shops on the inside of the fence.

BTW we felt the best shopping was in Zihuatenejo/Iztapa
Here is the beginning of their shopping.

I am not sure what you mean by the Club tour. I do not see one listed on the Carnival site.
There are many beach front bars/cafes with lots of music and beach close to the ship.
What club tour are you thinking about.
Others might have more knowledge of this.

We are going on 10-07-07 on NCL and the tour is called: Acapulco Bar Hopping
Experience Acapulco's legendary nightlife and hop through the best bars in the city. Paradise, Señor Frog's and Carlos & Charlie's are waiting for you with your favorite drinks. Included are four domestic drinks at Paradise and two domestic drinks at Señor Frog's. At Carlos & Charlie's you will get a souvenir yard full of beer, margarita or sex on the beach. Note: Participants must be at least age 18 years of age.
So I guess my question should be how far is Senor Frogs or Carlos & Charlie from the port?
Thanks for the info!

We did Acapulco and loved it a couple of years ago. We stop there again next year. The tour we took to see the divers was very good as it stopped and showed us some beautiful sights along the way. Breathtaking scenery. Bought some turquoise there and it is still good and good quality.
