Is Miami less organized or something for embarkation? I have read a lot of reviews often saying it took 4-5 hours to board the ship here. Port Canaveral seems to be really well run and doesn't take that long usually. We usually sail from Port Canaveral and this will be our first cruise out of Miami. Not really looking forward to 4-5 to embark.

Last Feb, we sailed out of miami and had no problems. We arrived at the port around noon and we were on the ship in less than an hour. The terminal was quite full when we got there, but the lines moved quickly. Good luck, I would DREAD a 4-5 hour wait!

Never had problems with embarking. In every port it never took longer than half an hour. But disembarking is much longer. You have to be patient until your tag colour is called, that you can leave the ship. And then the long rows in the terminal. But it never was longer than 2 hours.
Good luck, Marita
