A group of friends are going -- don't know which itinerary on Princess 7 night trip is best. Which ports are the best to include the itinerary? Which are not as good? Should we leave from seattle or vancouver, round-trip.

Finally, some are not big fliers...is the float plane soemthing that would work? Thanks.

If you are planning to do a round trip then I would say it is a personal preference depending on if there is something specific you might want to do pre or post. For instance explore Seattle's Pike Place fish market or Butchart Garden's on Vancouver Island. Not knowing where you are from, airfare may be better into Seattle. Also, you wouldn't have to deal with customs in Seattle and you would in Vancouver.

Thanks. It seems we will leave out of Vancouver now. What shiops/lines do you recommend? Is Hubbard as good as Glacier?

I would recommend Princess or Holland America for Alaska. Both Hubbard and Glacier Bay are nice. Glacier is known to have more calving, and has more glaciers, Hubbard has less glaciers but they are huge.
