I haven't done it in those ports, but just wanted to let you know it is one of the most awesome experiences I have had. We did the swim in Cozumel (pre-hurricane). The dolphins are magnificent creatures, they are so strong yet interact so gently with humans. They are extremely intelligent and seem to really enjoy being with humans. Wherever you decide to do your swim, I think you will agree, it is worth every penny. Make sure you do the swim and not the encounter. The encounter doesn't let you interact with them in the water the same way the swim does. Best wishes and have a wonderful cruise!

Cabo was beautiful. Got ripped off with jewelry in Puerto Vallarta (was a store recommended by NCL) Acapulco, thought it was big, dirty and you see "armed" guards on many of the downtown street corners. I'd advised at lease a organized tour there. In Cabo, you'd be safe going on your own.

Never swam with em in those ports but I did in Ocho Rios and it was really quite fun. Nice warm water to.
