Does anyone know just how secure the parking is at Cape Liberty Port in Bayonne , New Jersey?

I have left vehicles at the port twice. Entrance into the port is controlled.

The info that is on line is confusing is the parking $12 or $15- do you have to pay cash in advance or not? Is there more than one place to park-

When I was there last the parking was $12 a day paid in advance. I am only aware of the one place to park by the pier.

Thanks, but I finally tracked down the operator of the parking lot, which is "Central Parkig". The rate is $15/day -pay in advance - they take credit cards. They also say there is enough parking, there are no reservations and you should plan on arriving 1 hr before you want to get on the ship.

They raised it $3 a day higher in less than a year. $12 was already too high for their parking. The parking lot was very poor. I hope they have taken some of that money and atleast paved it decent.

I just called the port about an hour ago and parking is sixteen dollars a day and that's including tax. I myself think that's kind of steep. It really has gone up. You do have to pay in advance, they do take credit cards. Hope the lot is paved lots of flying dirt.
