I am considering a cruise to Bermuda with my wife & 3 children.
We enjoy calling on the various ports, but we always seem to enjoy the shipboard ammenities at least as much, if not more.
I have heard there is no entertainment on board while in port, is this true? What about other ammenities, i.e Pools? Lounges/Bars? Restaurants? We are not gamblers, so we don't care about the casinos.
Can anyone verify this & provide some inside information? Thanks!!
The ships never are allowed to have the casino or gift shops open while they are in port. There will be limited activities onboard as most people opt to go ashore. There will be some bar service, (usually on pool deck). The gym and spa will have service. Lunch is usually at the buffet on pool deck. Each cruise line is different and may offer more such as a movie or light activities.
