Question:
Hello, my boyfriend and I are planning to take a cruise in April 2003. We both work in the travel industry, so we are pretty familiar with flight cancellations and delays. We would like the trip to go as smooth as possible, so we would like to fly into miami the day before the cruise departs. Then stay in mia 2days after the cruise arrives. So my question to you guys is, which hotel in mia is the best?? I would like one close to the port of mia for the departure, then one in another area, maybe south beach for the return. Any suggestions? Please help!

My wife and I are going to Miami the day before we sail on the Spirit in January. Any suggestions what to do and where to stay on a Saturday night? I know I do NOT want to spend it in a Airport Howard Johnsons! Not that $ is no object but I am not looking for the cheapest way to spend the evening either.

Check past posts - click on "Ports of Call Chat" in the left column. There are some suggestions there - especially helpful are some listed under "Miami" from Maureen. Lots of choice - depends on whether you want close to the port or on the beach.
