We plan on going to sea world when we get back from our cruise next month. Does anyone know if there are lockers or whatever to store our luggage while we visit the park? Or are there lockers at the Airport where we can store them? Our ship ports at 7:00am and our plane leaves at 8:00pm so we need to store luggage. Any suggestions? Also does anyone know if there are shuttles that regularly go from airport to cruise terminal? Thanks

The "B" Street pier is only about a mile from the
San Diego airport (about a $5 taxi fare) To my knowledge, there are no lockers at SAN for storing luggage (however I could be worng about that) Ask the airline when you fly into SAN if you can check your bags early for your return flight. If not I would suggest checking them with one of the hotels surrounding the cruise terminal or the airport.

There is a Holiday Inn right across the street from the pier and the Sheraton Harbor Island is across the street from the airport. I am sure you could check your bags with either one of them if the airline can't help you.

Sea World is only about 5 miles from the airport in Mission Bay. If you take a cab tell them to go over Nimitz to get there otherwise they will take you the long way around. Have fun and enjoy San Digo!

Thanks for the info, have you ever checked bags with hotels? Do you know about how much they charge? My husband wants to do a weekend away maybe we can pop into San Diego(its either that or Rocky Point, Rocky Point might win out) and check out the bagage situation. That was a good tip for taking the Taxi to Sea World I never would have thought about that.

I normally tip the porter checking the bags about $2 per bag and then tip the porter reclaiming them the same amount. There is no "charge" per se for the service, only the normal expected tips.

It doesn't get any better than San Diego in September/October..VBG
