can not wait to go on our first cruise . are there lots of beaches just to enjoy the sand and waves near kings wharf.

The beautiful pink sand beaches you are imagining are virtually non-existent in the King's Wharf area. You will definitely want to head over to Horseshoe Bay in Warwick Parish, Elbow Beach in Paget, or to Tobacco Bay or St. Catherine's Beach in St. George's Parish. There are others but those top the list.
