MitchH,

there are two cruise ports in the Los Angeles area. One is in San Pedro, the other in Long Beach.

Best regards,

http://www.sanpedro.com/

There is a link on the side where you check what ships are in which port.
I think Carnival is Long Beach,
Oceania is San Pedro

Carnival departs from Long Beach; most other cruise lines depart from San Pedro. In most cases the Port of Los Angeles refers to San Pedro. What cruise line are you inquiring about?

San Pedro is at the south end of the 110 freeway. When you get to the end, do not turn toward Long Beach but just go straight - the freeway dumps right out on San Pedro streets. Once on the surface streets, the port will be to your left, downhill.

Karen,
just to update you; there is now an exit from the 110 (Harbor) freeway that takes you right to the terminal--you don't have to go to the end of the freeway and take surface streets anymore. The exit is clearly marked CRUISE SHIP TERMINAL.

From Riverside, I take the 91 to the 55S. to the 405 North. May be an easier way but I am originally from OC so take the freeways I know well.

Mapquest it.

Just so MitchH dosen't get confused: from the 405 North, take the 110 South to San Pedro to the CRUISE TERMINAL exit.
OR, you can just take the 91 West all the way to the 110 South.
