Hi Flatman, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Which island is this one for? We've done quite a few sail/snorkels/beach party excursions and have enjoyed all of them. There are some fabulous snorkeling/diving areas in the Caribbean. Since you didn't post in the Caribbean Port Chat section, this must be some other island. Perhaps Hawaii? or Tahiti? or Australia? Please let us know and we'll do our best to give you an answer. Hope you have a fantastic cruise and once again, welcome aboard!
Hi Penny3333, I'm sorry about not saying which port I was referring to. I've never posted on this site before and really don't know what I'm doing yet. The port we're going to do the Deluxe Sail,Snorkel and beach Party is going to be Cozumel Mexico on the Carnival Triumph on April 21st 2009. Can you tell me about what this usually costs? As for my lack of knowledge on using this site, it seems all I see are posts that are very old. How do get to recent posts?
Cozumel is amazing. The water is great, the snorkeling is fantastic, and every beach we've been to there has been nice. Normally, with lunch included, for a catamaran 4-6 hour excursion it will run around $150/pp. The most recent posts will be mixed in between topics. You can use the "Find" feature and clicked on Advance and you can narrow your search.
Hi again Penny 3333, Don't mean to be a bother but I have a question. Under your name it says that your a moderator. does that mean like a host of this site or are you just like me, another poster? I'm new to this site as you already know, and I do have a few questions. Maybe you can steer me in the right directions..
No, I don't host the site, just try to help out. There are a few of us that volunteer our time to help keep the board clean, the messages in the proper areas, delete unauthorized advertising, and various housekeeping chores. All of us try to answer any questions we can. If I can't answer your questions, usually someone else can. If not, we'll do our best to find the answer.
Penny, that was a good explanation of Moderator duties IMO.
Hi Flatman, I just happened to have my last cruise papers out looking for something else. The price list as of late October has the excursion priced at $62 per person.
At 120 days from your sailing you can book online and check prices if you are registered on Carnival.com.
As Penny noted, someone will usually know the answer, or help point you in the right direction to find it. The Members of this forum are the most knowledgeable and friendly that I have ever found on a cruise forum.
Welcome aboard,
Dwayne

thanks Dwayne, I think your right about the freindly people here. I asked this same question on another site that's similiar and got smart remarks about looking it up myself. After explaining the 120 day thing, this woman says " it only took ME 1 minute to come up with the answer! " Well, bottom line was that she sails in 25 days..lol. BTW Dwayne, what part of South Carolina are you from? I spent 25 years living at Edisto Beach, which is as beautiful as most of the places we cruise to IMHO..
Hi Jim, You are welcome. I know what you mean about some of the other forums (we won't mention any names). I live in North Myrtle, I've lived in the general area a little over 25 years. I've never been to Edisto, but hear it is beautiful. I'll have to get down that way and check out the lighthouse.
I did this tour several years ago and loved it. It should be aboard one of the Fury Catamarans. An awesome experience, a great staff, and the margaritas hit the spot.
Dwayne
