Has any one been to Alexandria and had problems getting their visa at the port of entry? I am getting conflicting reports regarding visas that maybe we should get our visa before leaving

I come from the uk and have been on a few red sea cruises and did not need a visa, I did for some reason need one when I got off in casablanca great flower market, the museum of the fly is another good one, I hope this helps but your c/company should give you advice
