Die "Kräfte werden gebündelt" so ist im weitesten zu verstehen, daß Princess und Cunard ihre Verkaufsteams in den USA und Kanada zusammenführen.

The consolidation broadens the distribution support for Cunard, effectively quadrupling the size and reach of the previous Cunard sales team.

Hallo Klaus,

in Belgien z.B. ist das Cunard office auch zuständig für die Buchungen von Seabourn, Princess, P&O Cruises und Ocean Village. Die nennen sich jetzt Complete Cruise Solutions.

Wo das allerdings hinführen wird, weiß ich nicht. Bloß ist klar, daß man auch bei Carnival wahrscheinlich Sachen vereinfachen möchte und nicht nur bei den Schiffen den sparsamen Mainstream-Weg gehen wird.
Daß eine der Marken verschwinden soll, kann ich mir momentan nicht richtig vorstellen. Seabourn soll ja angeblich irgendwann auch abgestoßen werden.
Es kann natürlich sein, daß Cunard früher oder später als Marke auch verschwindet, so wie sienerzeit z.B. auch Royal Viking Line bei Cunard untergegangen ist. Es sind ja auch Firmen wie Sitmar Cruises und Home Lines verschwunden. Möglich ist bei Carnival alles und man orientiert sich ja auch Richtung meistverdienendem Segment und das sind nunmal im Moment die normalen Massenkreuzfahrten. Cunard füllt mit der QM2 und der QE2 da nur noch einen Nichenmarkt, genauso wie Seabourn. Beids paßt sicherlich nicht unbedingt zur Carnival-Strategie.
Die QE2 wird sicherlich auch nicht mehr ewig für Cunard fahren.
Die QUEEN VICTORIA kommt. Ob aber das Schiff nicht intern schon anderweitig verplant ist, kann ich auch nicht sagen.
Momentan passiert viel auf dem Markt, vieles, was auch nicht alle verstehen mögen.
