Thank you for attracting the attention to the German cruise community.

It's quite interesting as Dover, Copenhagen and Warnemünde and the ship itself are not in CARNIVAL internet booking machine yet.

Looking forward to an alternatives to the running cruises.

Seatrade Insider already had a look into this matter last Friday (February 9th, 2007) and got news frm Carnival that no decision has been made at this point; SPLENDOR might as well be positioned to the Caribbean instead.

Let's see what Carnival will disclose in the next weeks/months - but for now, they didn't deny those calls either!

ooops..then i cant say anythingelse than,i'm sorry,but i still hope that the ship will sailing in N.Europe....i cant give more than a regret...

no need to be sorry! I knew that Carnival did slot the CARNIVAL SPLENDOR for Kopenhagen, but wasn't aware that she is also scheduled to call Rostock (Warnemuende), too. So, thanks for your hint and I hope we check back later when she hopefully does make her debut here in the Baltic!

Stimmt es, dass die Splendor eine schwester der Costa Concordia wird. Laut Wikipedia soll sie auch über dieses Spa und den Poolbereich verfügen.

die CARNIVAL SPLENDOR wird ein Schiff der "CONQUEST"-Serie; die COSTA CONCORDIA ist fast baugleich zu dieser Carnival-Serie.

Die SPLENDOR ist ein "modifiziertes" Schiff der "CONQUEST"-Serie... ähnlich der CONCORDIA/SERENA. Der tatsächliche Unterschied zur "CONQUEST"-Serie dürfte aber optisch kaum zu erkennen sein.

regarding my above statement, dates for Rostock-Warnemuende are as per below:
16. and 28. July 2008, 09. and 21. August 2008 and 02. September 2008.
Vessel will be docked between 0630 and 2300, arriving from Kopenhagen and departing for Helsinki.
