Hi dream,

we did a 7-day- Med- Cruise last year on the Opera, and simply loved her. She has the perfect size for that kind of cruise and a very elegant but relaxed atmosphere. The food is typical italian, prepared the way italians like it, which was among the best of all our cruises before.

Concerning diet: I would visit the Maitre'd right after embarkation. I am sure he will do his very best, he was very accomodating to us.

And be prepared for an international crowd!

Have fun!

Hello, Dream.
Haven't cruised MSC Opera myself, but as I have seen, it looks like a very great ship. Really!
If you want to take a look inside the public rooms and the different staterooms onboard, there is a great "Virtual Tour"-function and a lot of picture at their website, www.msccruises.com

As I can read at their website, they're supporting a lot of diets. Just tell them when purchasing your cruise vacation.
Happy Cruising! Smile
