The only help that I can give you is that the 'Marco Polo' travels that route but will not be doing it I believe until just after XMAS. It's a bit bigger than what you are looking for, but it might satisfy your needs should nothing else turn up. The ship is operated by the Orient Cruise Line. Cruiseman

I need help in locating a ship that travels from Ushuaia to Antartica. I am looking at doing the cruise next Xmas and cannot remember the ships name or cruise line. I know that Princess and the Royal will be doing something similar, but as I have done the Royal and Sth America, the smaller ship sounded interesting. Apparently there is one that takes 12 days round trip and approx 50 or so psgrs. Who knows.
Thanks in advance Mich
Hi Mich, while there a larger "mass-market" ships that visit Antarctica, they are not allowed to land anywhere in Antarctica. Instead, they are only allowed to cruise the region. The largest ship which actually tenders passengers ashore in Antarctica is Orient Lines' "Marco Polo", a ship I sailed on last October, which I can very much recommend. I have a very comprehensive review of the "Marco Polo" on my web site. Best regards, Raoul Fiebig Das Ruderhaus
