We would like to cruise on the Costa Mediterranea next april but we met some people on our last cruise who told us to avoid all Costa cruises because when you are at a port there is no possibility to have a meal on the boat: all restaurants are closed. It seems incredible. Is it true ?

Pierrot,
While it was over a year ago when I sailed on the Costa Med, there was no shortage of dining options while in port. There was open seating in the dining room, the buffet and poolside grill were both open (except on the day we were at their private island and the buffet was shoreside), pizza was served from noon-2 AM and a pasta bar was open at lunchtime.
Hope that helps.
Nancy

Hi Nancy,
Thanks a lot. It will help us taking a decision for that cruise.
