Are you flying into Daytona? If so...why? When you book a Disney cruise, you can include Disney's Magical Express from the airport to the pier assuming you fly into Orlando.

I'm sorry. I'm going on the Disney Magic Oct. 25,2008. Its just the 4 of us going. Someone told me to fly into Daytona but I didnt understand why. I was planning on flying into Orlando and taking the Disney transportation.
The only way I would be flying anywhere else is if we went with skybus. They have super cheap flights but not to any big airports.
Is there anyone else going on the Halloween cruise next year?
This is our first disney cruise so i'm a little lost with everything. I'm reading as much as i can on here.

Thanks for giving more details. I can understand the "lost" feeling. We used a travel agent and I can tell you they are worth it. Ours guided us through the whole process of where we should fly, booking a ticket through the cruise line vs. going it alone, transports, etc.
You might ask some of your friends of they have used one and just see if they can help. It actually will not cost you any extra.
You will get a lot of opinions from friends who always book trips themselves about where to fly, how to get to the pier etc., but they are just opinions. I have friends who give travel advice who are not travel experts and I have learned that they are not good at planning trips, so I listen with a smile and then go seek expert advice.
I was looking into why someone would tell you to fly into Daytona as well and I also cannot figure it out. It is not closer to the pier. I would personally book a flight into Orlando. At least if you need some help once you get there, there will be a whole Disney crew to direct you and help you with getting to the pier.
Thank you so much for the help. We are going to be going into Orlando. I'm usually pretty good a doing vacation planning but this is the first cruise I have done. The last one my mother took care of everything since she took all of us on it. Thanks a bunch for all your help!
