i find "Charlie Palmer " menus on board seabourn are declining the high standard of the ships.
the excellent chefs on board the Seabourn vessels are simply limited.
Imagine the quantities of premium food could be purchased in stead of paying honararies to a kind of gastronomical prostitute.

we have only sailed on seabourn and silversea but our spring 06 cruise to turkey placed us as the youngest on board..at 51!!WE ARE taking a break from both lines as we want to see some of the european cities and are considering a river cruise.we realize they are NOt seabourn and SS style but do you have any buzz on the age range?we are 51 year olds trapped in 30 year old bodies!!

Hi cruisefreak

Have you tried Ocean Village - check out holidaytruths and then the cruise reviews. Ocean Village is brilliant, it is not 5 star, but they offer every kind of activity if you want it or do nothing if you don't. You may not find all the facilities on board that you would on Seabourn, entirely different class, but the ship is friendly, there are no tips added and the price is outstanding. Try it for a week around the med and see.
