Hi, I am not going on the Mediterrenea until 2 Apr 06. But I am curious about all of the negative reviews I have been reading about the ship, especially regarding the food being terrible and the beds being so uncomfortable. If you dont mind could you send me a email when you return and let me know your opinion. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I also would like to have a review of this ship as I am going on a southeastern cruise on 01/15 2006. I am looking forward to this cruise, but I am now scared of what I am reading!!!!
Costa was great. The food was excellent in the dining room. I heard the childrens programs were wonderful from parents. Plenty of activities on board. The line dance classes are great fun. The toga night was a blast so do take part in that and don't miss the guest talent show following dinner! Keep your toga on for that as it's judged by the audience, where you send the participants to the buffet or to the lions! The only complaints are water on lido is warm and in staterooms to fill water bottles have a bartender fill. Not enough ice in ice machines. And no food in buffet except pizza hotdogs and burgers for dinner. All announcements are done in about 7 languages so get used to it. Long life jacket drill. Also if you book any tours on line you must reconfirm on the ship I didn't do this so lost on on one of my tours. Staff is not as outgoing as on Carnival, but polite. A European experiance, enjoy!
