Hello...First time in the forum and I love to cruise. Going to Tahiti for first time next May and I'm curious about the aft cabins on the Tahitian Princess (old Renaissance ship). It looks like great view, but I'm curious about excessive motion when at sea going to outer islands. I'd also like to know if the balcony cabins are so tiny that one feels cramped?....is midship minisuite a better choice? Thanks so much. J

We have got the aft cabin next to the owners suite for our next cruise on the Pacific Prinesss (identical ship). The balcony is much larger than the normal ones at the side. I hope there isn't too much extra movement and I get terrible sea sickness. I will let you know after we get back :-) Mummsie

People on Oceania love the Aft cabins and report good things about them .
They are Sister ships of the Princess ones.

In September 2006 we cruised with Tahitian Princess in an aft cabin (6090). No problems with movement, great balcony with loungers-chairs. Great. The only problem we have had, was soot from the chimney. Check the cushion before you sit down.
