Oceiana has web cams in its computer labs!! You see folks come and go,but what if I do not want to be seen! Any # of reasons,I want my privacy!!! Maybe I do not want to know that my 20 year old is hanging out there with a new found 60 year old......
There are a number of cruise lines that have web cams in their computer centers, as well as various other locations throughout the ship. I guess if you don't want to be seen, you best find out where the cameras are located and avoid those areas (VBG). Seriously, you do have a point regarding privacy - particularly since there are no public disclosures posted onboard to let you know where these cameras are positioned. Nancy
Speaking of privavy issues, Check this out: I cruised on the MSC Lirica on Jam Cruise 4 in January. While boarding JC4 the MSC staff was, let's say, less than careful with our personal information. Near the head of the line was a table located just outside the terminal with some walkie-talkies, stacks of paper, etc. When I approached the table I noticed the title page said: "Jam Cruise 4 Final Manifest" These were in stapled bundles of 40 pages each....with all of our names, room numbers, date of birth, country of citizenship and more!! Including the artists! Just laying out on a table, unguarded, for anyone to grab. I was appalled that our sensitive info was handled like that.
ships have web cams and security cameras all over them. If you look closely you can see them. They usually also have them in the elevators. If you aren't doing anything wrong what's the problem.!! Mummsie :-)
