Anyone out there have any experience with The SeaDream Yacht Club?

They hold only 110 pax and 92 crew and are all inclusive - the ships really look sexy. One feature is the Balinese Beds on the upper deck where you can catch some rays during the day or actually sleep out overnight if you want. Wink

Just curious - I have not sailed them yet and I just received an interesting offer...

Chuck, I've never sailed SeaDream but have had clients sail them. They said if you like Seabourn, you'll like SeaDream. The one thing I've heard is that because of their size, they ships are often chartered by corporate groups or family groups, leaving the possibility that you'll be bumped from your cruise after you book, if that ship happens to get chartered. I don't know anyone, however, to whom that has actually happened.

Sandy,
Thanks, appreciate the input. We too had heard about that possibility.

What I found interesting was that they claim to be all inclusive yet (per their website) "Each stateroom also has a bar and refrigerator unit stocked with complimentary beer, soft drinks and bottled spring water. This bar can also be stocked with guests' choices of spirits and wines at minimal cost." and "There is a complimentary open bar policy in public rooms and in public spaces on deck." which sounds contradictory. Seabourn does not charge you to stock your suite nor does Regent (and Regent will be all-inclusive in 2007). So, is Seadream semi all-inclusive?
