Hi, has anyone done this excursion? If so, what was your opinion on it? Thanks for any help, can't decide if we want to do it or not.

It is your boat. You are not stuck with a bunch of people you do not know.

Jim runs a great organization and will get you back to the ship on time. (the number one concern) He will also be honest with you about what you are likely to catch depending on the time of year you go. Now of course he can't guarantee that you will catch fish...that is up to the fish. But he won't promise you Sail Fish if Sail Fish are in those waters that time of year!!

We love Cozumel. We have been many many times, (5 times in the past 12 months alone).

My wife and I have been on this excursion twice.
Both times the fishing was great. Mahi-Mahi both times. beware, the crew will try and sell you on getting your fish mounted. Check with the Florida DA's file on their website.
If you catch a fish and want to eat it, there is a restaurant called Waffle House down the beach that will cook them for you. Don't let the name fool you. It was right on the water and open-aired.
