Hi. My name is Kate, and I will be going on a cruise in June. I recently visited the Carnival website, and I saw the "Camp Carnival" thing...my twin and I are 14, and we DID NOT want to be "supervised" by counselors. We wanted to relax, listen to music, swim, explore, and meet some boys if possible (Just kidding)!! Anyway, I saw that the limit for the camp is 15. I also saw that they had "fun, scheduled, supervised activities". We did not want a set itinerary, or be supervised. I think we're a little old for that. Would it be possible for us to just walk around, and do our own stuff, or do we have to participate in this little camp thing?!?! Please reply as soon as possible. Thanks!

you are not required to participate in the Camp Carnival program if you don't want to. Like the many other facilities and activities onboard, it's not more than an offer. And if you would like to participate in some of their activities because they sound nice, you are also free to do so, as well. After all, you're on holiday so it should be up to you how to spend your time.
