Unfortuneatly there is not a place to check for senior rates on Carnival.com. You could try to change the promotional code from BCA to CPSE. I tried it on my cruise just to check, and it said invalid. I think it would be best to call them for a quote and ask about the senior rates. Hope this helps.
I had already mentioned to Carol (TA agent) that I had just booked a trip for the Carnival Liberty in March.
I don't believe I mentioned that (as was just mentioned)my TA gave us a discount from Carnival, as we had sailed with them before.
Code numbers, etc was just mentioned and I don't know anything about that, but I do know that for some of the ships (at times) they do give senior discounts.
I don't check the prices on the website, I just "call" directly, and pretend I am a potentil customer, and they give me the stateroom prices. That way, I can let my TA know if they have gone down.
I also just noticed in the Sunday paper, it stated that cruise prices (I'm still going to check it out, even though I have already booked) will be going down between Thanksgiving and Christmas, if anyone wants to check prices out then.

When checking the price reductions sometime add'l rates codes come up after you've booked that were not initially available. Carnival has great promos on senior promotions, resident promos, past pax and more. Cheers, Neil
Neil, I've been to the Carnival board and tried to find out if there's a senior promo but can never find the place to do that. When I just check for cruises and the pricing page comes up it asks where I'm from but there's nothing there to click off for senior. Where do you look?
KAWS, I was absent for a while from here. Too busy at work to check in for quite a while. I missed your question. I'm not sure I can answer it the way I'd like. There are some rules of the board (for good reason) that prevent me from sending you to a specific sight that I'm affiliated with. I'm sure there are others but one of the biggie online cruise booking agencies has a tab accessible for different categories. 55+ rates (click here), Military (click here), Teachers/Firefighters/police officers (click here), etc. If you can find one that offers these tabs whether you intend to book with them or not you can quickly find such rates. The tabs are electronically updated via a live feed direct to the cruiselines rate codes daily for most. Hopefully you can find one of these sites and use it as a tool for quickly identifying when there is a better rate for your cruise. I advise clients to save the page in their favorites and when they go online to check email or things they do online on a regular basis, just pull it up and check their rates.
Some such promos and some lines have restrictions. It's always worth trying to get the adjustment if you can. Most of the time you can!
Cheers, Neil

Thanks Neil. I know the site that you're referring to. I had forgotten about that and was only thinking of the Carnival site directly. Thanks for the refresher.
This is my suggestion, "CALL" Carnival directly, and that way you will know what is going on. That is what I do. When they ask my name, I only give the first name. That is how I do my "fishing."
Booking early has paid off again for me! I saw where rates went up another $20/pp since I last checked (to see if rates went down) and that makes me even more savings. I am up to $140/pp by booking early! I'll use that $280 for photos and excursions, etc. WooHoo!
I have even called the cruise line direct, as I book through a TA, and find that "normally" the TA gave me a better price. Should (???) the price go down and you have booked through a TA, you NEED to let them know, as they should give you a reduction or credit.
WOW! Just when you "think" you have everything covered, something else comes along to add on to your cost. I did see where passport prices were going up next year. I'm glad mine is still good for a couple more years. Maybe by then (I really wonder????) I will have the cruising out of my system. MONEY has a lot to do with it.
