Hello, I am going on a cruise with my family for New Years (Dec 28-Jan 3) on Carnival to the Carribean and I have never been on Carnival before. This is only my second cruise, the last one was on the Princess and I loved it, So I have 3 questions
1. How is the Freedom compared to other cruise ships?
2. Can you still go out on excursions (we are going to the caribbean) with the weather like snorkling or parasaiing?
3. How is News Years on a cruise ship, I hear good and bad things but I would like your guys opinion on it.

I cruised over 2007 New Years aboard CCL ms Victory and I had a blast. I traveled SOLO, but I met a lot of fun loving people and attended the best New Year's Party at sea!

The Freedom is a great ship, the weather will be fantastic (as long as there's not a storm), and this will be my first New Year's cruise. We've done Christmas a few times and it's been fantastic. I hope New Year's will be even better. Have a fantastic time!
