We just returned from a cruise on the Inspiration and visited Cozumel on Saturday Sept. 9th and yes, we were still tendered. There is space for 1 ship at the pier next to the destroyed Carnival pier, so I don't know how they decide who gets docked & who doesn't. First come, first served - or largest ship? When we were there, a RCCL ship was docked at that spot. Very little work has been done on the destroyed pier although we did notice men in scuba gear working on it. Still lots of rubble to be hauled away!

I visited Cozumel a week before Memorial Day 2004,(I left on Victoria Day in Canada) As I recall, they had 2 piers there. There was a large pier which was aprox 5 min or a 10.00 Cab ride to downtown, and a smaller pier which is Downtown - right beside Senior Frog's on one side and a Mexican Naval Garrison on the other. (That is where we docked on the Fascination, alongside the Disney Wonder)
Which pier are they using now?
