They will FIND you:-)...Prices will be all over the board....so get a good price...and be SAFE..Our last cruise...a woman had to be airlifted from the ship...a waverunner hit her from the rear and broke her back....
Just an unsolicitted but wise word of advice. Don't rent a jet ski in the caribbean. Many of them don't work right and haven't been serviced in years! In the US when you rent something, it's new and running right. In the caribbean, you never know. You're taking your life in youre own hands...literally!
Probably no need to point out the obvious, but even swimming can be dangerous in unfamiliar waters. We have broken necks every summer from people diving into the shallow surf here in our area--they expect it to be deeper.

It's really hit or miss down there with the equipment. Don't worry about finding where and how to rent one. You just want one that is capable of bringing you back to shore. Caveat Emptor... (by the way there is no Bahamian word for refund)

Steve hit the nail on the head. I saw so many of those things. The minute they spot you, they are yelling, "Jet Ski!, Jet Ski!, Jet Ski! They also will offer Jet Ski Rides! DON'T DO THIS!! Just sit back and watch them for a minute and you will see what I mean. Wait to ride a Jet Ski when you get home.
