Has anyone been on the Carnival Liberty, Rivera Deck? If so, can you tell (this is the deck my TA picked out)how many decks up/down it is to the Pursers Desk, dining room, Lido Deck (I think that is where the buffet is???)? I'm just curious. Roll Eyes

Two decks up to Purser's (Info Desk), and the Dining room.

Eight decks up to the Lido.

Thanks Dwayne for the info.

Now I know how many stairs I will "have" to climb to get my exercise. Smile

I know it can really get the heart pumping, especially at my age, Eekbut I like "beating" the people on the elevator. Smile

Riviere Deck is closer to the Infirmary, that might be helpful if you strain yourself climbing stairs lol

You are welcome.

You shouldn't have too many to "beat" on the Riviera Deck. Wink

Thanks Larry. That really helps out. Now I have the opportunity to check out ALL the decks now, and see where everything is located. Smile

Pleeeeeeeeeeese, I don't want to THINK Confusedof that.

I'm thinking positive, that I don't have to go to go to the workout area, but just do it on the steps/hallway, and I'll be fine. Smile

You're gonna need those stairs to get rid of the 5lbs their chocolate melting cake and other goodies will add. Nope your scale in the bathroom is not broken after a cruise, lol.

I'm not talking about "just" the Rivera deck, but ALL the decks. Time will tell.

I have to "proove" to my 3 sons, that Mom can STILL Roll Eyesdo it, even though they don't see me do it.

I told them if I can climb all the way up a pyramid, I CAN do this. Smile

Well thank goodness, I'm not much into chocolate, but when it comes to pizza, welllllll, YES those steps will come in handy, I'm sure. Smile

So far, on my 7 trips, (I'm trying to cross my fingers, but it is hard Confusedto do when I'm typing)I have gained only about 3 lbs. I HOPE it stays that way. Smile

Fortunely, there are several elevators so no matter where you are you can take the elevator. If you stay close to midship then you have easy access. They only thing is during fire drill you have to use the stairs but that is all. I have stayed on the Rivera deck on the other ships several times. I always try not to be directly under the showroom or the galley, because of noice and choice midship for less motion and walking from end to end.

Well "hopefully" Roll Eyeswe won't wind up with a lot of noise over/under us. I have never been on the Rivera deck and that is what my TA picked out, probably because it was ( 4 or 5 doors down)close to the elevator.

As I said earlier, I plan to DO Smilethe steps or walk the length of the ship.

If the Rivera deck does not work out, I will KNOW for next time.
