Hi all, My Family and I will be going on the Mexican Rivera Cruise on the Pride in June and we are very excited. This will be my 3rd Cruise but my first with Carnival.
My question is regarding the two twin beds that make into one king bed. I especially remember on my last cruise that I ended up in the hole between the two mattresses more times then I wanted. Now maybe it is because my husband and I were on our honeymoon But I remember ending up there on my first cruise also. Has anything changed to prevent this from happening or does anyone have any suggestions on how to avoid becoming a Breakfast Burrito every morning?
P.S. I love this site... I have been on here everyday since I Booked my Cruise. June can't come soon enough!
My wife and I was on the Pride in May 2006 and we loved the ship and the beds. We did not have a problem with the beds being together. We have been on RCCI and Carnival and we think Carnival has the best beds. Hope this helps Mike

Hi pepsiqt, welcome to Cruise-Chat. We've sailed with Carnival 4 times and have never had any trouble with the "hole in the middle". It's really been hard to tell that they are two beds pushed together, feels just like a queen size to us. Best wishes for a wonderful cruise, and once again, welcome aboard!
Thank you everyone. Like I said we were on our honeymoon and snuggled all the time. Now we are old married folk who like to stay on our own sides of the bed so it probably will not be a problem. But then again who knows... maybe this cruise will spark some old flames from our Tahitian Cruise. Good thing the kids are in a diffrent room.
